Verpact x Seenons: 1000 organisations on their journey to Zero Waste
Verpact and Seenons share a common vision: bidding farewell to waste and welcoming the era of new materials. Verpact, the organisation tasked with the management of packaging waste, plays a pivotal role in packaging collection and recycling. In contrast, Seenons operates as a platform, equipped with an app that facilitates seamless collaboration among all stakeholders in the waste management chain.
Our goal? Provide the most efficient and sustainable system for collecting packaging from organisations
The challenge – Efficient and sustainable collection of packaging
The challenge at hand is to offer companies a sustainable and efficient solution for packaging collection. As of January 1, 2023, a new regulation in the Netherlands permits the collection and recycling of all types of packaging, such as plastic packaging, drink cartons, and glass, for companies, free of charge.
Verpact is responsible for executing this initiative on behalf of companies that introduce packaging into the market. To collect and process glass and PD (plastic and drink cartons) waste streams as efficiently and sustainably as possible, Verpact sought a strategic partnership with Seenons.

The solution – strategic partnership between Verpact and Seenons
Leveraging its innovative tech platform, Seenons has devised efficient pickup routes, both new and existing, through its network of logistics service partners. To ensure comprehensive national coverage, Seenons invites new logistics partners to join the initiative. This collaborative effort allows the 1000 organisations affiliated with Verpact to have their glass and PD waste collected free of charge. Moreover, the partnership ensures the most sustainable processing of waste streams by Verpact.
The partnership’s vision
Seenons and Verpact aspire to see this partnership as the initial step in their journey, hoping that numerous organisations will join them in their pursuit of a zero-waste future. They are actively seeking logistics companies interested in assisting with waste transport across the Netherlands, extending an invitation to become logistical partners in this transformative initiative.
